I watched the games vs Cypher on stream. Cypher played amazing regardless of his 45-50 ping disadvantage. Props to Dahang, he's looking very strong going into these world finals. I wounder how he's looking vs Rapha at the minute?

It's annoying when people bitch about ping. Fucking don't play if you know you're gonna ping high. It's pointless.

imo QL favors defensive play. I want to be aggressive. I have always been aggressive in q2 and q4, but if I want to win in QL I think it requires a change unfortunately. At least until there are less +backy maps (ztn/dm13 for example).

so true, i basicly gave up on QL duel because i simply dont enjoy the way its played at all :/

as long as you throw in a few combacks for the crowd everyone should be happy :)

it's just what q3/ql gameplay tends to be like, evolves more and more to a defensive game with gameplay in favour of aiming and not dodging, damage and not protection

i don't know what the fuss is about.

football got super defensive over the last century aswell.

its just the safest way to win, if the odds are balanced.

It's usually safer/easier to react than to initiate in such games and if the game is about mere points, not giving away any will make you not lose ofc. but I think some games or sports tend to make it easier to play defensive and be safe, while others make it more risky or boost attack so much that it's easier to overcome defensive play compared to other games or sports.
