Yep, good eh? :/ not to mention the passenger side window's been smashed and the ignition is all ripped out and broken so I have to fix those as well. I could go through my insurance but that will cost me my excess (150 quid) and then lose me my 5 years no claims bonus so my insurance will go up considerably. Its a no win situation. My problem at the minute is getting my car home from the recovery place because it currently won't start because of the ignition barrel being broken by the theives.

It could have been worse, somebody could have torched your car. Forcing you to pay money to get rid off it, instead of getting money for "dumping " it. Which is basically what happened to my car :<

By the way, most of these pro configs are darker looking than my own and the enemy models and crosshairs stand out more. I cant seem to find the setting that makes the graphics look this way. Its not gamma, its not intensity, its not mapoverbrightbits, its not overbrightbits, its not fullbright.
Any ideas?
I just have r_gamma 1.2, intensity 1, overbrightbits 1, mapoverbrightbits 5. The map looks pretty bright compared to most/all these configs I've tried and my crosshair and enemy model doesn't stand out as much as these darker configs. The settings I've mentioned are pretty much the same in these pro configs as mine.

most of these cfgs have higher r_intensity values which would make sense. mapoverbrightbits is as the name suggests the brightness of the map so turning it down might help.

you could also use my setup but some people hate it :)

overbrightbits 0 (washed out colors/rather dark map)
mapoverbrightbits 5 (fully lit map)
gamma 1.6 (combined with obb 0 it's still rather dark)
intensity 1.3 (glowing models and items)

low mapoverbrightbits and higher overbrightbits and/or intensity as said
