Those who use the alternative servers browsers or the demo player for Quakelive have noticed that these useful tools were not working anymore after the last update released by id Software. Today most of them have been updated and the new versions are now functional again!

The alternative servers browsers are scripts which use the Greasemonkey Firefox add-on. In order to get the new versions working without a flaw, it's recommenced to uninstall the previous versions of these scripts. The demo player itself is an add-on and also requires to get the last version uninstalled.

Prism uses a slightly different scripting engine afaik.

The only feature I've added since Lejoon branched off with his version was filtering by location.

Works perfectly with FF. No need to uninstall anything.

Press install and enter the quakelive site > works.

FF 3.5.4 on win7 x64.

It's a known issue with the current QUAKE LIVE client, and not QLDP itself. I can't script my way around it as of now I'm afraid, we'll just have to wait 'til they fix it. By the way, I'm having a hard time tracking all these QL related websites, so if you stumble upon any bugs and/or issues with QLDP, please consider replying in the original thread (however, I do LOVE these sites like esreality, I just find it hard to find the time to browse around 'em all)

I didn't mean anything negative at all, I just meant that I've got a _very_ tight schedule this semester so I don't have time to visit/comment/collect bug reports from several websites. :-)

Look where the yellow text is on the page. Where it says: "Game settings" "Edit my profile" "Log off". You should have a "demo" link there if it worked.

thats not the case. qldp is plugin, not a script for greasemonkey.

i had the same issue with qldp not working on my laptop. i realized i had no folder demos where it supposed to be and when i created it qldp started to work.

Concerning the DemoPlayer.

Maybe I am missing something, but no matter what I do, this screen appears when I press "Play Demo": http://lebowski.dk/demoplay.png - Fullscreen is set to 1 in the options.

How do I get that fullscreen with playlists etc and how do I create these playlists?

Yeah, I made a stupid mistake by exec'ing demo.cfg AFTER execing the playlist/demo, so it isn't full applied, I will release a bug fixed version in the upcoming week (just waiting for more bug reports).

can u also temporarily rename filenames before playing them? Would be nice since after last ql update, some demos with time stamp don�t play (until u rename them). Probably asking too much, but anw.
