no matter how you slice it, the "pro config" fetish is retarded

considering how shit some configs are (including default) and how many things you can actually tweak, it doesn't really hurt to have a look at good configs, especially huds and scripts. surely you're playing on a vanilla system or came up with all tweaks yourself without ever looking up anything anywhere!!!

I like to mess around with my config - as everyone else does. In the past I've often found lots of help and hints from tried and tested configs.
Its common knowledge that "chance" and "skill" govern the out come of a game but the allowence for pervertion of config settings in Quake gives a spectrum of feedback response. So having ago with something "similar" to the configs proven to work well is always of interest to me... init ;)

Liking Noctis's graphics - using those now. Crosshair and enemy stand out nice and bright.

u better make screenshot, cuz same config can result in different outputs for different hardware
