My experience is the complete opposite, both teams meet at the maps high point and dukes it out, usually the rounds just last 20 seconds.

coz at least in europe there are more empty CA servers in idle mode to join than CTF or TDM servers, which makes it a lot easier to play a match, but of course you are right there is a whole bunch of players that want to play CA, but I guess the majority especially on ESR would prefer TDM or even CTF.

I remember the good leagues in ra3 like barrysworld or clanbase, and I had really mutch fun playing those leagues in this mod.

However i'm a tdm/duel player....

I don't like playing Quake extremely safe as I don't like camping, hiding, spaming grenades, rockets, +b railing etc = CA = CS. CA in most cases is all about that.
