If you don't know what it looks like it'll be harder to see, but basically the cursor will lock into the center of the model and track around the hitbox. Do timescale 0.4 and you will see it.

Ok retard, this is a GTV demo, which makes it completely irrelevant for checking aimbots, due to GTV's low packet rate and Quake 3's interpolation, which makes mouse movements seem 10x as smooth as normal. Go find a POV demo. l2witchhunt, geez.

Depends on the settings. A lot of people will use high nudge on gtv so compensate for lag, which will screw up the way aim is displayed. Dunno if this applies here, or if other things factor in

Well, whenever I watched a gtv demo recorded by someone with a bad connect or someone that had those settings, the demo always had visual "artifacts" like rails not showing up when shot or rocket explosions not registering or the sounds would not play. Another effect would be the pov "warp", the one where suddenly the pov you view will teleport through a wall to the position of the player viewed while the recording party is supposedly lagging at that time.

But I always noticed the pov reflected the aim of the player and the opponent rather well, even with the worst gtv demos. lag always showed up in the above mentioned situations for me. Perhaps I am missing something though. I just got this impression after trying to view a gtv demo of some tourney in the past, which was laggy as hell with the above graphical and sound issues, then I decided to watch the proper pov demo of the same match and I thought the movement and aiming was the same, just with the lag feeling removed.

Try watching gtv with a nudge of 50 or above. The aim will look very bot like (not aimbot, just regular bot). I don't know if a recorded demo will show the same effect, though it probably won't, now that I think of it.

His lg aim is excellent, but I don't think it's any better than jibo, arrw or strenx's. There are times I'm amazed, but it's just the same when I watch those other players.

I think part of the reason people are claiming hax on gtv is because at this time not many new about xerp. That made his aim seem all that more impossible.

The 'mid-section lock' up the jump pad is too small a time frame to make much of. That could easily happen by coincidence over such a short period.

If a hax programmer is clever enough to make the bot so hard to spot in other ways and clever enough to avoid pb, surely they would be clever enough to have the crosshair not stick to a certain part of the model. It would be so easy and obvious to fix, I find it hard to believe they would make a bot like that.

Pro players such as destrukt, who have played him online and on lan, say he's legit. Obviously, they must feel his aim is the same in both enviroments.

you got to understand the context of the demo, back then in NA scene the deadly combination of xerp, laghax and negative timenudge was not well known, kgb was one of the first players to exploit it to fullest. leading up to this game there were plenty practice games where many saw kgb's unbelievable lg tracking, I myself recall a ztn game where kgb's lg was utter incredible. There were 7-8 good players back then who regularly played but none other than kgb had an lg so freaking strong, its natural to have cheat accusations.
