dodgy .pk3 files in your q3 install, remove custom paks (like custom maps) and it should be fixed

Cheers man, it's fixed! Last week I went to a small q3 LAN and I had to autodownload a huge amount of pk3 files.

I would resolve this problem with with r_picmip 4 and r_gamma 1.5 :)

it's paint/print screen that did it, it really doesnt look that dark (my gamma is 1.75, picmip 0 tho =))
