err... dunno wtf that is but i've personally been to several nightclubs in Dubai where there's a lot of alcohol flowing. i went there in february this year. i think the only restriction on alcohol is that you have to buy it from a hotel or something... can't store bottles at home (not too sure about this). there were also plenty of hookers from all over the world. drugs are a strict no-no though... i heard the punishment is very severe.

Dubai has a very mixed population. lot of whites, blacks, asians and indians living there permanently in addition to the local population. if everything you pointed out was true... people would get the hell out of there asap.

Well, I certainly applaud anyone wanting to do a hundred pushups, but take it from this old gym rat, I've spent my entire adult life in the gym, and a program like this one can do more harm than good.

If you only train one part of your body (and that's all a single exercise like pushups is going to do for you), you're setting yourself up for injuries down the road. I've seen it a hundred times.

It's like putting a powerful engine in a stock Toyota Tercel. What will you accomplish? You'll blow out the drive train, the clutch, the transmission, etc., because those factory parts aren't designed to handle the power of an engine much more powerful than the factory installed engine.

Push-ups basically only train the chest muscles and to some extent, the triceps. What you really want to do is train your entire body, all the major muscle groups (chest, back, abdomen, legs, shoulders and arms) at the same time, over the course of a workout. And don't forget your cardiovascular work!

I'm proud of you guys wanting to do this. Three cheers! Falling in love with exercise, eating right, etc., is one of the greatest things you can do for yourself. And you WILL fall in love with it if you can just force yourself to stick with it a year or two and experience the amazing progress you'll make.

But do it right, okay?

My advice, find a good gym, with qualified trainers who will design your programs for you (especially in the beginning, until you get the hang of it yourself) and guide you in your quest for physical fitness. Not at all, I "felt the need" because having people who dont know cadred think we're talking rubbish for a month or two doesn't do us any harm, as you didnt know cadred anyway, and once it's shown we did know what we were talking about the positives out-weigh the current negatives =]

I'm simply pointing out and rightly so that as of yet there is not one shred of reliable info. And when there is I'll be looking into it for free (I work with solicitors with certain things) and everyone involved and there are ways to see if Angel is involved.

Personally, I question the validity of anyone using the CPL name.

It has ZERO mainstream market appeal.
In the space of two days, the world knew who usain bolt and micheal phelps were. After 10 years, less than 1% of the gaming market know who CPL are and most of that 1% hardly speak positively of the CPL, so that is why I am suspect of the CPL.

If had money to invest in esports, I would distance myself from the CPL brand, not embrace it. That is why I am deeply suspect of any revival of the CPL brand.

Then again, if you look at what happened with Kwari, its clear there are people out there trying to make money from esport but have no idea how to do so. Anyone with a clue could have seen it was a TERRIBLE game, but apart from that it was well executed, so I can believe history will repeat itself.

I look forward to seeing more and someone or something that's accountable other than angels personal webpage and a random website.

Oh and PS, Cadred was bought earlier this year by Heaven Media Group, who own other sites such as DriverHeaven, it's not a finnish based site any more =]

In mine (and probably most others) personal opinion that makes zero sense to use that name, which is why I will be looking forward to seeing who's who as I too get paid for info, by solicitors from time to time on Civil I.T. litigation at Royal Courts of Justice.

So I will be checking if there is a paper trail back to Angel and I promise you I will dig a lot deeper than a DNS registrant and web archive :)

Whichever way you cut it, it makes no logical sense for any honest/impartial person to use the CPL name without it benefitting Angel.

I agree with that. The CPL has a very bad reputation but aren't the Americans known as persons who are capable of selling everything? The CPL does have a long trackrecord. If a 'big' corporation wants to become active in a niche market, they usually intend to buy up a pioneer within that market. For us, buying the CPL doesn't seem to be a logical choice, knowing what they have done wrong to this industry. The CPL can be sold as the poineer of eSports. They did have some impressive events.

I personally agree with most of the people in here, that the CPL brand is worthless and that the CPL can better remain dead. A revival of The CPL would be a big joke in the community, with or without 'the father of eSports', Angel Munoz.
