We are proud to announce the CPM 1v1 Open Cup for July. We are planning on holding these once a month.

Information
Thursday July 31st at 12:30 CDT
CPMA 1.46
Challenge Promode (CPM) gameplay
Maplist: cpm1a, cpm3a, cpm15, cpm22 and cpm24
Best of three (bo3)
Single elimination
32 Players

Coverage will be provided by #DmRadio (video stream) and GTV will also be available.

Signing up and selection
To play in this cup you must register an account at www.promode.org/challenges/ and sign up.
The check-ins are in #play.cpm on QuakeNet at 12:00 CDT (that's 30 minutes before the cup starts).

I was first planning to run an invite cup but there has to be a stronger playerbase first with more top-tier power. Once we get that down we'll see what happens.

I agree with you and i know that, i just happened to write mods instead of gameplay. I still take myself thinking of osp as 1.03 and as having its own folder in my quake directory. Good memories are hard to forget i guess..

nah, if everyone had stable connections my chances of doing well was better, cause most peoples connections makes them warpy and hard to hit, while my connection is superior and smooth and makes hitting me easier for them.

i think this was a success cup because of it�s quickness...startup and finished the cup same evening...the login�n logout crap with the mvd on the gtv hopefully will be fixed in the next CEU cup...
