I've been to Scotland last Weekend, was at "T in the park".
I've seen sooooo many wasted people. Girls'n'Boys peeing/puking against our shops (was working there) and made loads of pics :P

I'm going to England by the end of the summer for a couple of weeks... is it worth it to take a few days to visit Scotland as well?

its a good looking place the scotland if the weather is good. Its a big place, is it worth it.... hard question really, as I don't know what you like. Two weeks is a short time and its a fair travel up to scotland but its the best scenery in the uk imo (highlands anyways)

you Britons have no sense of scale, as someone from a larger country does.

Scotland is a beautiful country and I found Edinburgh and Glasgow to be much more enjoyable than London.

yeah a fair travel as meant in, a seventh of his holiday would be taken as travelling going up and back. not as in omg its miles away.

TIPS.

If you go by train book tickets a month or two in advance or it can cost a small fortune otherwise. I'm talking 100's.

If you only go to one place, make sure it's Edinburgh. The layout and scenary are beyond compare for a city n the UK. Seriously, you won't forget it. You need at least 3 days there.

If you do go by train, stop off in York as it's on the main line.
Even if you spend a few hours there can see most of it as it's very compact, but worth seeing IMO.

Edinburgh is easily one of my favourite cities in the uk
