Next week I'll be heading out to Activision for a QuakeWars media event. I just scheduled an interview with Paul Wedgwood (aka "Locki") from SplashDamage so if anyone has some questions about the game you haven't seen asked yet, post away.. Going to be starting the question research process myself tomorrow, but it's always nice to have others help ;p.

Along with going out to Los Angeles next week, I'll also be launching a re-branded, re-designed, re-organized Q3,Q4,QW site this weekend.. it will replace PQ4 which consumed PlanetQuake3.net's content... STAY TUNED>

When will ET:QW PR 1.4 be released?
On a serious note ask about how the lessons learned from Q4, and what is done to improve user friendliness if any, like auto updates user interface server browsers scalable graphics etc.

I've heard that, yes, there will be maps that are only indoors (read without vehicles).

But always good to confirm it.

In an earlier interview they said they have a server side cvar to disable vehicles completely. Let's see if that makes it into the final game.

How will they cater to the competitive side?
For example is something like warmup, pause, coaches and refs and ET:QW-TV (or how you would call it) implemented.
And cvars that limit use of certain weapons remove XP and so on.

Or in other words will there be a strong need for competition mods?

How is 1vs1 dueling without rockets/railguns and other shit? Normal SMG fight during clanwar.

How is movement like? Is it like W:ET's with strafejumps, ability to gain speed when jumping downside hills?

Is there headshots?

Is netcode as good as W:ET's?

Is it more man vs man, or more like vehicles vs vehicles?

How tweakable is it? Will it be able to run on old gen videocards (R9800Pro)?
