I kind of like dark websites though tbh.
But thats the natural part of life I suppose?, younger people tend to preferre dim lighting for example. While older people (you being the exception, cuz i dont think you're old at all!!) often want a bright environment. Which can explain why parents often turn on the lights in a room when they enter it. And the kids hurries to turn it off or dim it down afterwards :).
Dark tend to be nicer on the eyes to me when I'm tired. And I tend to be tired when I check websites cuz I do it at night mostly :p

I like light environments but light websites suck to read. If I'm going to do something for long periods of time I'd like a dark setup, nice and easy on the eyes (esr default is "dark" imo)
