Finally i've finished my second movie suffer 2. It contains some awesome frags which are made in Q4Max Clan Arena and Rocket Arena 4.
Some stats: 7:12 mins, 158mb, 720*400, XviD

Wow finally a movie that really shows what 1.3 is worth.
some awesome frags in there, but the best of it, is that you can actually see the fun in there =)
the movement of the players is pretty good, I wish I could move like that :D

and.. woa I'm in the credits, although there is no way I could have been seen in the movie, as I don't play q4max nor rocketarena4 O_o
(btw I this is not against max/ra4, I just dont like the ugly baseq4 rocketlauncher skin, it so much turns me off *vomit*)
q4max please include gtr weaponskins :O so I can play it too..

edit: plus this guy, he's made the best movie I've seen so far for q4max.

I need a weapon in front of me, can't do without :)
I'm one of the guys who push the graphics to the limit, no matter if I lose a few frames..
and removing the gun model is like adding picmip to the whole thing.. it just doesnt look good anymore.

yeah, but the interface sucks so badly, I use it only if mediaplayer classic doesn't work.

I already said it in my post, the interface sucks extremely.
you dont have ANY controls in fullscreen mode, there are like no options, its just way too noobish.
mpc has a perfect userinterface, everything you need, controls in fullscreen, and enough options to satisfy all my needs.

wasn't exactly shaolin editing,it sometimes destroyed the frags and the "invert colors" feels abit amateur but its was allright.

that was pretty nice, personally i detested the music though.

I haven't tried CA, but there was that map in the video which was very bricky, which actually looked quite 'quakey'. Shows that there is potential for better looking maps to be made if the right people are involved.

first of all, thx for the movie... all ppl just talking about how good it was and that this and that could be better, but well in the first place i am happy about every movie i get ;)

It's hard to understand that this is actually the prequel to Q4 :/

This is not meant as an insult to the creator of this. He did a fair job considering what he had to work with (although a lot of it was staged). I just couldn't help but compare it to the other movie I had just watched.

and totally legal to compare it with the best movies from other games, how often don't you see ut2k4 movies compared to q3 ones and get put down by it, fair enough, the best q3 videos beat the best ut2k4 ones. and I only see it as an motivation as an editor, to beat q3 ;)

Don't mind the people biting at you, they just need an excuse to make you say this video was good, when it actually wasn't (in your opinion, and mine too.)

Yes, mid-air rockets are nice, but half of these and the rest of the frags were not worth recording. After watching it I felt that the overall skill level was just bad.

'Bloodshed I' still remains the best q4 frag movie (content-wise).

its been in two that i've seen... but i watch ALOT of frag videos. One was a ut2k3 video from a ways back from a team 'kilanu' and the other was a q3 frag video.. it was called 'm000000' or something.

are there any active ra4 servers in europe? i was looking forward to ra4 but only found a coupla of busy servers when it was first released, now whenever i update server list they are always empty

best looking q4 movie so far, in terms of how smooth the playback was and the config in general, sadly everything else was bad (content, editing, creativity)... but, this certianly proved that q4 videos got potential. some good camtools and it's ready to pwn =)

you did a great job at making copperhead look like a n00b, 10/10 just for that :)

content 6/10 nothing special
editing 5/10 never do special effects just as the frags happen, tis damn anooying.
music 5/10 not really that good

overall tho 6/10

You know suffer1ng... If you have to stage stuff, at least stage something impressive.
Getting airrockets on enemies taking jumppads or rj'ing like newbs isn't impressive at all.. I actually lol'ed irl when you wrote "2x" because you got 2 extremely easy airrockets in a row.
But still gave it 6/10 since it shows what a pile of crap q4 is ;)

as long as we acknowledge the nature of the frags (people are just enjoying themselves) then it was a pretty good video. some of it seemed intentionally set up for frags in terms of the rocket jumping and what not. made some of the moments less special imo.

untill now - for me,one of the best quake 4 movies. Quick frags, amazing actions, great midairs - 1st in my q4 movie collection.
Only more of these :). And really, if RA4 plays like that, than I want it now !! :)

eh this movie was like a 5
soundtrack was bad
frags didnt seem very impressive but i think thats more of a q4 thing
good video quality though although audio editing wasnt great
