Went to The Roots' concert in Oslo yesterday high as hell with my mate jtm.s9 from esr and it was wo doubt one of the best concerts I have ever witnessed! They began the show with Black Thought rapping Web like I have never heard anyone rapping before and followed up with down-tempo versions of Here I Come, Long Time... when they then played Star and the drummers swapped drumsticks by throwing them at each other the crowd was sold xD
The Roots continued to make love with the audience with some insane drum-/bass-/guitar-/keyboard-solos, covering artists like Michael Jackson, Salt n Pepa, Lil Kim, Talib Kweli, Justin Timberlake, Snoop Dogg, LL Cool J, Wu-Tang Clan, Tribe Called Quest etc and of course all their greatest hits!
