materazzi in the italian league is a fucking killer (cheered by non-juventus fans :D) but, in this wc, he didn't any bad action. also his red card was too much for what he did. and the penalty in the final was, IMHO, a dive of the french. at least not a dangerous action. at all.

it was just plain stupid to attack him like that. it was not really a foul as he hardly touched him if he did at all. there's just no way the ref could consider this a normal attack and not give a penalty for it. later in the game there was a really badass attack vs a french attacker which definately was worth a penalty but the ref didn't care, guess that's equalised then.
