Yeh, ask how he feels about his animations looking jerky and crap because the coders and designers paid no consideration to the chuggy and sub-standard performance of the MP game.

afaik it was raven software who developed Quake 4, thus also their animators creating the animation

and if not - lets tell that today i play most old idsoft games (q1,q2,d1,d2 ...) with more than 100fps.
one of the most important steps in gaming is smoothness.
even with 125fps in q3 is see a big difference to an animation
when i make something in reality.
60fps was a damn big step backwards !

i think fps is a very minor issue compared with some of the other problems as of late.

Just... What is he giving consuming?

Is there strafe jumping in ET:QW or any other form of gaining velocity for infantry? I think the answer to that is extremely important. I know its been said already that there is but after seeing ET:QW at E3 im still not so sure. Has an animation ever given him an 3r3ct10n

ET:QW is before Q2, Q4 is of course after Q2. ET:QW is when the Strogg first attacked earth, then in Q2 we attacked them back, and in Q4 we continued the Q2 attack.
