Loose Change is disinformation, it makes some good points but repeats the disinformation that a video previous --IN PLAIN SITE-- did. The missile right before impact focusing too much on the pentagon strike all part of disinformation.

The focus should be--Why did the towers collapse the way they did, WTC ^7 and Larry Silverstein--

There's a whole section of the video dedicated to the collapsing of the towers, with eye-witnesses, including fire-fighters working in the building, and quotes from demolition experts. They claim that the towers were demolished by planted explosives rather than from the plane crash.

The narrator's voice is so whiny conspiracy theorist that it's very hard to take most of it seriously. I agree with the late Hunter S. Thompson's comments that the version we have is probably quite a way off the truth but not some of the ludicrous things Loose Change claims.

How are their claims any more ludicrous than some of the claims coming from the government and intelligence agencies? e.g the passport of the supposed terrorist falling out of the plane to the ground near the WTC, or the list of terrorists they came out with, only to find out later that half of them were alive. I saw this about a week ago and found it really interesting. I'm not saying i believe one or the other but it helped open my eyes to other possibilities that i previously hadnt thought of. =]

How were the claims in Loose Change substantiated? These guys are still alive! Cos we say so. If that were true then the mainstream news would have been all over it.

Did you watch the whole of the video? In the section devoted to the 'terrorists', it says 9 of the suspects had turned up, with news articles in the guardian and the telegraph. I dont see how that isnt mainstream news. There's even a story on the bbc website, http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/1559151.stm.

The way i see it is, these guys have come up with a theory, with some factual evidence to back up some of their claims (some of them are a little far out =/ ) and have put together an interesting view on the subject. On the other hand, the government releases a story that's full of holes, which are exposed by the theorists. They have proof of whatever happened (such as the stolen cctv footage from the gas station, and the black boxes) and could easily dispel such rumours by releasing it, but they choose not to.

The mainstream news doesnt care about the truth, if they did they would have reported things much differently instead of just saying whatever the government force-fed to them.

Many things were not mentioned after the first day such as people talking about bombs and explosions and news clips showing smoke coming from the bottom of the tower while both are still standing (the latter was shown only once during an interview with tom clancy). This is because these things contradict the official government story.

Scholars for truth is generally good, it does suffer in my view from Fetzer and his outlandish claims but the peer review articles and the experts like Jones, Griffin are worth it. Some good papers.

Remember anything that comes out and takes peoples eyes of the main thing--The collapse, WT7, the impossibilty of highjackers finding small targets and navigating etc--watch out for them.

There are indeed problems with the pentagon strike but it is hard to make sure statements. The link I posted earlier covers that the pentagon windows are not ordinary windows and unless we know the full make up the building it is hard to judge.

It would make no sense for the GOV to LIE about the pentagon being struke by a plane because they would risk someone coming forward, or someone in a hotel video taping the whole thing. Sure they took the HOTEL's Video Tape, but who is to stop someone else from taking a video?

Obviously they aren't that stupid.

The real problem with the Pentagon isn't the strike being made by a plane but rather how did inexperienced pilots know where to descend from 30000 ft to find a small target?

disinformation works like this--You put out crazy ideas with the good ones, later the crazy ones are taken down and most people LUMP it all together.

What if in the future the pentagon does release a video?

Then for sure disinformation would have worked. Due to the fact most people would just think--Oh well its those crazy conspiracy's again!"

We should keep our focus on what the real issues are and spread the word about disinformation.


Just to clarify my own position---I believe that the WTC was taken down by controlled demolitions, that Bld 7 was done the same, I find the evidence convincing, I find it hard to believe that the highjackers pulled this off by themselves and that American Radar was that weak.

For sure there was something going on, no doubt. But I also believe the gov is smart, I don't under estimate them and I am sure that they send out disinformation, just like they did in the 1970's, it turns out some of the most violent anti war demonstrators were gov agents!!

Even the plane that collided with a mountain left behind large debris like engine pieces etc, while a plane hits farmland and is dissinigrated?
And there's the planned demolition of the WTC's, which is also pretty convicing.

But only problem with this whole conspiracy is it would have been a pretty big operation, and everyone is keeping their mouths shut?

You see even if the official story is correct, and the 'pancaking' occurd to the floors above, the Center Core of Steel should have been left a least a few hundered miles in the area, that to me speaks volumes as well as the obvious take down of Bld 7, which Larry Silverstein owned, and just by chance weeks previous he took out a large insurance policy and made Billions off the Collapse of his buildings!

It's far from unbelievable but getting an official investigation with the pretense of the US government being responsible for the WTC attacks is probably impossible. For a start, most people aren't willing to even consider this. Secondly, at the very least this is cause for impeachment. Thirdly, if this actually happpened how so many of these sites claim, it is a poison that runs through the highest levels of government and therefore the evidence required probably doesn't exist anymore.

IF it happened, the only thing that will judge those responsble is God. Although that's another conspiracy entirely ;p

IT is obvious *FIRE* didn't do that to the Trade Towers, it is obvious that the Middle Steel should have been left standing, and it is obvious that the Towers shouldn't have fallen near freefall speed without much resistance.
