* First, Q3test has nothing to do with the retail version of Q3, so install Q3test in it's own directory. ex. c:/q3test

* Once you have it installed, rename demoq3 to baseq3.

* You will need to place productid.txt in your baseq3 folder. (productid.txt is included in the zip file along with demos)

* Create a Demos folder in your baseq3 folder & put the demos in there.

* Launch Q3test & setup your graphics/sound etc.

* use r_ext_compress_textures "0" to turn off texture compression as its on by default.

* To change fov use command fov ex. fov 110

* type demo demoname in the console to launch demo.
