Is it worth watching? I don't have quakeworld on this pc but recently I've been watching some quake 2 tdm demos of his. I know he played netquake. Didn't think he played any qw outside of the clan9 stuff.

No one is quite sure how much QW he really played. I think he aliased a lot, that's always been common for top players.

The demo is from late 1998 and he gets 91 frags. It's interesting though because it's so unfair, he has like 20ms while the rest of the players range as high as 130+. He wasn't a regular r3v member but was a ringer for this match which I believe was the final so it was pretty shady too. Was it QIL2?

It's worth watching for historical value but there's much, much better demos out there now. The main reason he gets 91 frags is the ping difference and low skill of the rest of the players relative to today.

Ah. Don't think I'll check it out then. I never really liked that hive-thresh demo of his either in q3test.

I remember hearing when he went to play clan 9 that some other moderate tdm team beat death row. I also heard that thresh was beaten by doomer and Kane. Many people thought at the time that one of the reasons why he didn't play quake 3 is because he was afraid of the international competition. Don't know if there is truth in that or not.

i wish more videos of QW, i think most of them that are on youtube I've watched.
