Your framerate will be lower for sure. There are threads on ESR, or Overclock.net or Tek9 afaik, people explain how they stream, and they use 2 pcs (gaming rig + a laptop/desktop to stream). You should probably do this.

QS uses the on-die GPU mostly, so there's not much CPU impact. The quality isn't great though.

it does`nt encode to flv when recording, but it does do xvid, unlike fraps, a 20min game wont fill up your terrabyte drive

I tried the 14 day demo and it does a great job, better than I expected. All I need to do is overclock my CPU and call it good.

Same here I think - no FPS drops, can stream games in low detail but everything is extremely pixelated \:(/

then it's most definitely your streaming setup. i've got a 1.5mb upload and can still stream 'smoothly' at 25-30fps with no in-game lag.

still lags me with quick sync. i guess ur not as sensitive to the lags as me

I'm not sure if quick sync is even available/compatible for me. I'm on a FX6300 6-core/16GB RAM/MSI Radeon 7950 3GB.

But like someone said earlier, it's all about your upload. Since you mentioned you have 12-14mb upload, I can only guess that it's your xSplit/OBS settings that's not optimized for streaming.

I personally use xSplit and have no trouble on my shit 1.5mb upload :>

QuickSync is for some Intel CPUs so... no.

OBS works perfect for me with my i5 3570k, 720p on 125fps just make sure the OBS screen is hidden behind something so the video isn't loaded.
