I have been playing with the ms 1.1a for quite a while now. Like, 1.5 years, maybe more.
I used to have really strong rockets, but that kind of changed with the ms 1.1a. However, shaft and rail seemed to be a lot better.
In my experience, rocket and plasma as well as shaft are so much better with the m518 because due to the weight and the glide effects, I can have much more stable aim.
I tested it, I switched back for just a game and I suddenly, after not having played with the mx518 for a every long time, I hit so many rocket I did not hit before. (I increased the accel/sens by only 10% comparing to the ms 1.1a setup).
My problem is of different nature though. My mx518 is much worn out and the glide pads under the mouse are broken. This is because a dear friend fixed the mouse cable for me as it was broken in the beginning of the mouse. In order to do that, you have to open the mouse.
Sooo: I need mouse skates to make my mouse work again. Does anyone have exprience with them?
