First polish map pack, coldrun, glt1, cant remember the name but the little big adventure map, There are literally many hundred classic defrag maps in my eyes.

What he said, a good few map makers were with maps like bardok-xyz, lick-xyz and pornstar-xyz. Most of these maps are played quite regularly. www.speedcapture.com also has a lot of played CTF maps with records on them. Also www.q3df.org has a bunch of servers, you could download dfengine and you can set an option to auto download the maps on connect anyways. There was also a new client called ioDefrag that you could link in there.

You can sign up at www,breakdown-hq.com and enter a cup if there is one running at the time, they don't happen as often as they used to though, it also provides the rules when the map is shown if you are interested in that.

Create an account at www.q3df.org and then you can login on the servers by using the command !login Username Password. You will be able to set your own records then and be able to check them on the website, or through the servers by logging in and doing !my besttimes. You can check the top records list by typing !top or !top more......more more more as well as !oldtop to see the old rankings if the map has any.

This is a Defrag Launcher for the www.q3df.org website, once you install this exe, you can easily just click on the server IP on the site and it will connect you to the server automatically.

This link is the "latest" or most active Defrag client at the moment, used for all server on q3df.org (1.91.20).

If you wanted also, you could download the "dfengine 1.08", it can come in very handy, seems to work somewhat better than normal Q3A defrag and also has auto download for every map when you join the server. Windows only with this link I think: http://www.breakdown-hq.com/downloads.php?id=200

And this is the link for "ioDfe" which is what I use, I don't even know why I use it, but apparently its meant to be better or something :P It explains some changes and options in it, also available for Windows/Linux.

ok i will be using these as part of the instructions.

if i remember correctly iodfe has a different graphic representation for the desired angles for acceleration, but i couldnt check it myself as it was crashing constantly...
