- there can be 100 people on chat but nobody "added"
- there's no way to tell who's in/who canceled
- you have 30 seconds to be "ready" after waiting 30 minutes... (I was in another window) then everyone has to cancel and re-join to try to get ready again
+ map voting is nice, with screenshots and all, well done
+ voice server showed up immediately
- after getting a game in 3 tries, 3 people joined a server, the rest was just looking and didn't want to play. FFFFUUUU
- there was no way to get substitutes for the noobs that left
- there was no indication as of who has left (everyone was still in the game screen chat)
- chat on game screen is different than lobby chat

Back to pubs and pickups. Good try ESL, but you need to work on the system a bit more.

Yeah, ESL Wire, its a 3rd party anti-cheat that you must install on your PC to participate in many ESL tournaments.

but does it actually work for ql, catching haxorz?

I doubt it. Have a look at this, it does not show the QL-icon in that "Testing ESL Wire Anti-Cheat" Box on the right.

No it does not work with QL at the moment. id Software has not been willing to cooperate in developing it for Quake Live.

similar to esl gather, except for the fact that you don't get a server this time around. nice system, but useless if you have to rely on pub servers or that someone added has a pro account. it's a ton easier to just start a pickup game or even find a pcw.
