remove the stock feet first using your nails or/and a knife, i use them on my wmo 1.1 and ms3.0, no problems to report :)

Huge difference. I use 'em on my IE 3.0 and my Death Adder. Hyperglidez ftw.

tbh I've never used a qck, so I couldn't give a comparison. I can say I've been very happy with the Allsop though.

teflon tape works well.

indeed. gives less friction than with hyperglides on cloth
if you really want low friction, go for a hard type pad like plastic or alluminium, coarse + hyperglides (and func liquid if you like)

with cloth, look for PTFE adhesive tape

Problem is, game gear brands ask too much for little pieces (or a roll for way too much). And if you're an enthusiast, you'll want to replace your tapes every month.

I got my rolls from an uncle who works for 3M, its made for machinery and is sold per box (12pieces if i'm correct), but they also have samples which you might get. I had PTFE Film Tape-extruded 5490 (3/4imch x 1 yd) as sample roll, which was fine. But then I got rolls of an other type (which I dont know the # of) which is even better.

Try emailing I'd say, or look for a company that buys/sells it.

you can easily get less friction using a Razer Mantis Speed mouse pad which is what I use after my SuperMat wore out.

i'd recommend against it only if you use high accel

but otherwise...go for the teflon tape or the hyperglides feet like these gentlemen recommend.

I know what you're saying, as it was a long time before I got after market mouse feet. But!, get a second mouse, preferably the same as you're using now, and put some hyperglides on it. Within a week, I'd wager you don't go back to the high friction.

well, for one i wear nike's
for two, slick feet make it harder to clamp down and steady my hitscan aim

Wouldn't use a 3.0 or 1.1 without them.

hyperglides should be better, but if you're also ordering a pad, i'd just save the extra shipping costs and do the same

i dont really feel a difference... except on my noname 1€ mousepad , but the mouseskates wear out fast on that surface

take a coarse hard pad, like the Steelpad S&S / SP or the cheaper func 1030 / thunder
that, combined with hard PTFE feet provides low friction while keeping precision (your hand feels the texture, with the slightest movements, you feel the details gliding underneath your fingers)

btw, that is what I expected... you dont feel much diff on cloth, tape would. But if you want low friction, you need to get away from cloth

I bought teflon tape for my wmo and put pieces on top of the original feet. Now the mouse stops tracking and goes crazy just above my normal gaming speeds. It's not too disturbing, but could mess up flickshots tho. Should I try to thin down the feet or something, or just try to live with it?

you're messing with liftoff distance... obviously its going to impede tracking accuracy. I'd say fix it unless you can live with it.
