Just sincerely curious.

Another user posted the various weaponstats of q4 and it was shown that the projectile speed of rockets in q4 were, in principle, as fast as they are in q3.

After playing this for a couple of days I can't imagine how this is the case. Imho, there's no WAY the rockets are as fast as q3, open RL fights, imho, resemble more of a q2 thing. And I tried to consider the possibility that there's some small delay in firing (which there does seem to be), but that doesn't seem to account for the fact that the rockets simply SEEM slower relative to how fast you're moving. And as far as I can tell, you aren't moving all that fast.

So, for people who understand the technical side of this stuff (e.g. the guy who posted weaponstats, arqon and the like), how could the game be saying that the RL speed is X, where X = q3, and the in-game experience seems to differ so markedly? Don't honestly get it.
