I really don't understand him, do he really thinks he can play as he was without noone notice it? Like there are hundreds of players that can take maps vs strenx, so noone will notice now. He just need to turn off the hack and play like shit... he will be ok then, but NOOOOO, why play like mediocre at best, when you can be famous on stream pwning strenx.

Dunno about America but there are quite a few ISPs with dynamic IPs in Europe (I've even seen some with more than one IP range)

they banned ip, they banned name (real name) and even banned his whole REGION ip`s!

most ISP's provide an option to change your IP so it's hard for ID to actually stop banned people from coming back

I think the problem is in the shitty cheat detecting (read punkbuster) a good anti-cheat system should be able to detect cheating as it happens, kick the player and report the incident. An easy way to maintain a good anti-cheat system is to look for available cheats on the internet, use them and record the kind of signatures they leave during gameplay (like what aspect is abnormal) and then match these during matches, these will prune out the easily obtainable hacks all over the internet that these scumbags use, the custom hacks are much rare occurences.

As far as I know yuka use custom hack, so punkbuster will not detect it(and it didn't before they pull pb out).

yea custom hacks are a real problem, one single thing that totally destroys the legitimacy of online competitions.
