Schedule: Passed

Six weeks, six cups and the saga continues: the 7th edition of our weekly ZOTAC QuakeLive cup is setup for registration. Feel free to signup until Sunday, the 15th of November 08:00 CDT.

Once again the cup format will consist of SE brackets using bo1 matches until the quarter finals. Then the games will be played as bo3 with the grand final being played bo5. The prize consists of 100� for the first place as well as AGP ranking points for the Top8 players.

Participated players will be av3k, burnedd, cooller, fazz, guard, madix, smoke, spart1e, strenx, tox1c.

Update: From 148 signed up players 107 actually checked in. Famous players participating in ZOTAC #7 were

it's just that this way you have to put a considerable amount of time into watching if you want to follow the tournament. it's really only a problem when there are other things you SHOULD be doing though ;)

T7 is fine. I suck at it, but it's a fine map.

T9 I find a lot of fun, but i'm not sure if it's really a very good map. It needs something more.. don't know what... I can't put my finger on it.

dm13 is just a great map. I'm crap at it, but watching the great players play it is great. It really has a lot to offer.

dm6 is just not good atm. Change the map or get rid of it and get a new one.

ztn is just fine, except that it's easy to exploit the current spawn system. Which needs to be changed anyways.

A totally new map for dm6 would be awesome, allthough I must add I enjoyed the dm6 games in Dubai, but in the online tournaments it's just gay somehow.

I like all maps, even dm6. I just find it harder to play vs catch-me-if-u-can in ztn. I don't play it a lot, so it might be lack of experience.

btw post some ffa demos. I like your stealth bot-like aim style :). The only ones we have, are the crappy fatal1ty ones. You might have some that you don't die at all, or you join late or something equally interesting.

Brumu is one of the only players I have beaten more than twice with the score 1-0. He rage quits if he doesn't get the first spawn frag, other times he quits on 2-1 if he does get the spawn frag!

There was some classic Cooller e-rage going on in the first two maps vs strenx. After getting raped on dm6: "I really want to play u at lan", followed by strenx saying "why :P". I was waiting for Cooller to say something like "BECAUSE I TEAR U NEW ASS NEWB!". Unfortunately he only complained about the pings which were ~+10 in favor of strenx. After winning a fairly close dm13 Cooller typed "no rail..." lol. strenx handled it well, only typing wp and gg. You have to love the comedy in Coollers e-rage :).
