Event: ESL-TV QL Inv

Update: The VoD is now available.

Update 2: The winners of the 3 competitions are now known.

Winners

Tonight the third show of the ESL-TV QL Invitational sponsored by Razer will feature the Playday #2 matches.

spart1e,

xlo-fazz,

PURRI (who now replaces

link1n) and

[M]strenx will be the contenders for a slot in the Finals and 100�.

The show will once again begin at 12:00 CDT and be hosted by

2GD and

Joe. The Razer competitions will not be different this time, excepted for the mouse that you can win which is now a DeathAdder.

well it's written only for germany ; but I can continue and it seems to work... but it demands an "IC-PIN" and a shit ton of banking details, too much for me to be arsed. why not use paypal or visa, seems much simpler to me
also I don't want a monthly automatic debit, just want one month (I know you can certainly cancel the stuff right after paying the first month, but the option should be available in the first place)

I'm gonna try by buying some "premium days" by phone (there), then convert them to esl tv (there); wish me gl

this site was a maze a few years back when I played some esl cups (and I believe it has always been), and it still is. they really have to learn ergonomy and fire their web designer once and for all

edit : it seemed to work, I can watch the big stream for the on demand videos
I have not much idea how much I've payed (something like 2-3�), neither how long the premium esl tv stuff will last (got 30 premium days converted to esl tv, does it means I've got one month of esl tv ? mystery, an dI'm tired of this crap ; at least it seems I'll be able to watch the big stream towmorrow, and the quality is very nice)

Yeah it's literally the worst site I've ever come a cross. It's extremely hard to navigate and they also mix German and English on the site.

When I was going to buy the premium stream (which didn't happen) I needed help but the help text was in German! ESL you need to redesign the entire page asap.

link to your player account? I'm curious about how you paid too

admittedly the premium payment area is a mess because of all the different countries, languages, payment systems and prices we support.

We don't offer some payment systems for 1 month plan because they're not economical for us (i.e. you pay 3 euro, we maybe get 1), though there is a gap with the missing telephone call payment in the first page you find but it is there on the second

The rest of the site design is pretty easy though... pick a country, pick a game..

do you really lose 2 eur out of 3 when using paypal?
paypal has some flat fee + a percentage which I don't see taking away 2 eur, but perhaps I'm missing something.
I would rather pay 1 eur extra for using paypal, if that's making it profitable for you, instead of doing what wata did, calling and converting shit.. :)

I don't know the specifics of all the different payment systems, but I know that for some of them we cut off the 1month payment as the overheard cut into the profit for it too much

We're constantly working on making more payment systems available in as many countries as possible, as obviously we want to make it as easy as possible for people who want to give us money to do it :)

ugh, I don't know how you can say that about v2001 design, that was horrific by itself and the navigation was like clanbase's which is unmaintanable for the number of games and countries we have

I don't really see what is so hard with our navigation now, there's the main navigation bar, and underneath it a submenu

You can get to any of our >5,000 active ladders/cups/leagues in at most 3 clicks

I actually watched all the shows at work, it just turned out that way. I even had to stay a little bit after 9PM, when I would normally finish working, a few times because of this tournament :P

Kind of annoying to mute the windows media player when you watch a game but someone wants you to do something work related instead :P

For some reason, whatever I do, I can only watch that damn commercial! After it, I only see a white play symbol on a black background, and nothing happens. When I press it, I just see that damn commercial again and the process repeats itself! Yesterday, ONE of the surely 20-30 times I tried, worked. So I watched 50 or so minutes yesterday. But today, I have tried at least 40 times now, and it just doesn't work. I've tried restarting my computer, I've tried other computers, I've tried different browsers. Nothing works!

try clicking high quality video, fixed it when i had that problem.

why are there 3 or 4 day intervals with this tourney. it feels like forever. and with the first days being this good, this wait is dumb. first it was 3 days, now 4?...
