The name is omen. I do like tasteless but someone inform him that when he stops cultivating the word nerd all the time, not to ever discover the word emo.

Though Tasteless does a fabulous job of teaching as he casts, the new chick seems to have made it a little harder on him. I'd recommend just buying the game and playing through the singleplayer for a little while until you know the basics.

edit: knowing the maps isn't very important for new spectators, so focus on learning the units/build orders. When you understand enough about how everything works, you can appreciate the maps more.

the right way to understand a game is to play it, for the beginning I suggest you play every day 4 skirmish matches (let's hope ur husband will have the decency to give u some free time, 4 times a day)
