... are all those tracks for free and you just zip them?

Also: What's up with all those remixes? Lack of own ideas? Or maybe i'm just missing the point, dunno.

Most of those are free, the artists send them to blogs or put them up on their own page for promotions or as an appetizer for their next release (ep, album, whatever)
I don't zip them I try to make it one flowing mp3, sort of a dj set so to say which makes it legal (iirc) because you don't just make a zip file with single tracks (as some of those do cost something) :D
But I don't know what you mean by "Lack of own ideas". Those tracks aren't mine anyways so neither of them are my ideas. Some remixes of tracks are just "better" (for dancing) than the original, that's why I pick them :)
