1) Nine Inch Week is here and I'm going to start it with the info about the guys who released the 3rd version of Quake that will work on your Nintendo DS, rebirth of Poland Defrag and
Quake 4 Duel Leagues that are right now going on.2)
NO HUNTING competition will take place on Sunday 2nd March at 09:00 CDT on IRC channel #Quakers.ws. (You can still sign up at CzechQuake@gmail.com)I have put one item into this competition and set up basic that are telling that all four Quakes are played and that there are 2 ways how to qualify into final matches.
You are winning prizes all the time, but this competition is not about prizes, it is about creating some kind of trophy. To know that even after a few years, you can say that you are proud to be with other best Quakers on NO HUNTING Sign!
There are few reasons why I have choose it:
- there is nothing else that I can put into this competition than NO HUNTING Sign, my time and will to try to do such thing
- what more than placket signed by authors of your favorite games should be base for our CUP
- we are in shortage of Duck mouses and keyboards :-)
You might say that it is a strange idea and - of course - feel it completely different way, but than I don't know what you are expecting - you might dare for some ca$h prizes in pr0 tourneys and I would be happy to see this phenomenon for top 1% percent of us, that show us best games ever, doing show and of course should be paid to be able to train. For me it was always about fun and having great time with Quake and peoples around.

ClanBase started its OpenCups for Quake 3 and Quake 4. There are some teams signed in, but I think there can be some more. Hopefully, the leagues will start with no problem. In the NC XI Quake 3 CTF, 
Belgium will face 
Sweden in the final. Sweden managed to defeat 
Team France and Belgium found themselves in finals after winning against 
United Kingdom. The French and English players will meet in the bronze final for the third rank.4) I'm really missing
Quake 3 Duel in the present tournaments and I'm glad to announce that 
Legie with the cooperation of 
Thrawn is preparing a Quake European League that will take place after the Quake Nations Cup. If you want to cooperate on this league, you are welcome to can contact us on #Quakers.ws.5)

Quakeworld.nu opened a HOW TO section in their forum, you can find some useful tips by sassa and 
Renzo to help you with your favourite game. The best choice for the total newbies still is nQuake that makes it easy to play Quakeworld. Czech Quakeworld Events 7 is a Czech & 
Slovakian Quakeworld tourney held by JohnNy_cz, cuky and jebak. Sign up ends on 6th March. CZ/SK Only7) The Duck Hunt in
Quake 2 and Quakeworld will start next week with registrations for this Duel Action. Admins and rules will be specified on Monday's Czech Quake show on PG24 Television.8) In the STAR Invitational, grand finals games are finished and I must tell that it was one of best coverage I have ever seen: VOD released 4 hours after the live show, great shoutcast that tells you a lot about the amazing StarCraft matches, shy audience and handsome English speaking guy in a lovely pink shirt... <3 - the 15 years old Terran player Flash owned all...
