wow, are they trying to enter the guiness book for 'the worst mouse design ever' or 'the stupidest advertising arguments ever' category .. on this one I really can't decide :|
First off I would suggest to consider the following:
*Read my profile before making any presumptions on my age
*Do not try to determinate what I know/don't know
*FOR GOD'S SAKE, please try to learn how to speak YOUR native language in a proper way..
And for you sake, I was just criticizing the design; not the actual ergonomy. So please try to use a pertinant argument, before trying to make you look "like-I-know-about-computers-because-I-first-started-with-the-z3". Thanks.
Or, conversely, perhaps I was just giving you a hard time in jest, wasn't serious, and you've demonstrated your apparently superior e-maturity by acting like an angry little girl.
well I just wanted to remind you that you started this whole shit by masking the assumption I was 15; which is completly unacceptable as you can find out my age using my profile (it just takes one click).
I am not trying to prove any e-maturity but just wanted to prove that answering the way you did just doesn't help at all. Just telling me that the wingman designed that inspired the design pretty (in your opinion) without adding a useless [+] seaching comment just below it..
I'm really sorry but saying "15, 17 .." was way more childish. -And what the fuck do you have to do with that conversation anyway? you are just some 27 year old low-life trying to get inches to his e-penis.
Please consider to stop breathing, you may be using air that would actually be needed one day..
Wait a second, you're 17 and you were offended by my outlandish assumption that you're 15?
loooool
Clearly, my assumption was basically on target, albeit in jest. You're some kid who isn't old enough to remember real mice like the wingman gaming mouse :P
well, read the thread above yours and get this:
thinking that someone's age has something to do with his maturity is wrong, don;t you think you are being childish when you say "lololol you are 15".
Get lost, fucker.
And btw you are so "oldskool" man, I would so much want to be like you.. I think I'm jealous..
well we have a real argument here. I come from a region of the world (you know, an island called 'europe'?) where being 17/18 is not the same thing as in the US.
First let me tell you about my personal experiences, I am a "child" who has moved a lot in his life, leaving in no less than 6 countries and visited about 4 times this number. This makes me more "open" that someone who has lived all his life in the same country. What is my point here? I am 'open minded', so I perfectly accept your argument of me being a 17 years old 'child '. I currently live in the usa, and I experience everyday that being 17 years old here gives you no rights at all.. Now lets compare that with the context I was educated in: in switzerland, most people already work at 17 (while having studies aside - for exemple most of my friends in ch already have a work, and it's not being waiter at some random restaurant, I'm talking about working in compagnies such as Rolex..) compared to the us, where most people at 17 are in high-school.. and then move on to college and start working very lately -and thus aqcuire less experience previously.
So I perfectly understand, and accept your point; Being 17, I -for sure- know less than you being older, but does this really give you the right to make fun of me for random reasons? I thing that this fact is a proof of immaturity; you can very well be mature and act like an idiot, or inversely be immature and act like you are [mature]. Now, you may think this is what I am doing here (and in all the prior posts). But I would not consider myself as being immature, I am not some stupid spoiled child.. I have an extensive knowledge in litterature, sociology (I am not saying this to play the big shot) and an 'open minded' state (due to the reasons posted above) which ALLOW me to consider myself as mature enough.
To put it in a nutshell, I'd say you are right by saying I have yet a lot to go though and learn - but what I really cannot accept is the fact that you (and some two random guys) 'make fun of me' (sorry I can't find the right expression here) for being a 'child'. -I think respect is a vertue every human being should have.
Actually telling someone "kid" whos underage is not making fun but a fact. Ok another word could be used instead of "kid" I agree. Why the fuck do you even battle agains being called a kid. I'd gladly turn back time and be 15 again.
Moving from place to place is a form of getting educated in cultures and such, but that doesn't give you the knowledge which can be only gained through ageing.
The fact that you may be working for decent money right now if you would live in Switzerland does mean jack shit. There 7 year olds working in India making your shoes, does this mean they are more mature as a 20 year old person. I don't think so.
Well I just wanted to point out that knowledge is what englobes culture, experience.. So knowledge (or at least a fraction of it) can be 'grown' by reading, opening up to new cultures..
And for the working 'jack shit', I precisely added that those were not mcDonalds type works; but real works that you could get for life (engeneering..). I also meant this because the 'majority' is at 18 in most europeans countries (you have ALL your rights) which is not the case in the US [well you must be from europe though, as the timezone in your profile is GTM+1].
And you are right, it can be great to go into childhood again; and you are never adult enough "Life is a lesson, you learn it when you're through" (erk, I quoted fred dust here!)
feTzu is right. Your assumption that he is a 15 year old was uncalled for.
However, If you said that he is 13 or younger then that would be acceptable.
edit: read the bost above yours, then the problem is you seem to be totally closedminded compared to blowdpanis, so you are right. are you feeling happy now?
ah, here was the exact quote I was looking for: Arguing on the Internet is like competing in the Special Olympics: even if you win, you're still retarded.
Have you even tried the 1010? The shape is very good and I find it much more comfortable than any other mouse on the market. Shut the fuck up until you've actually tried it.
I would actually suggest you reading the definition of the world "design" as you don't seem to have any idea of it: read it here. You will probably learn that a design is purely graphic and has nothing to do with the ergonomy or the "touch".
So I don't see the relation between "shuting the fuck up because I did not try the mouse" and the design; I am really sorry.
sounds like a guy with no argument..
Please consider the following proverb: “Do not speak unless you can improve the silence”
I am really becoming sick tired of people that try to reply shit in order to get a plus/play the big shots/start a flame (circle the right answer) and as soon as they get a reply and have nothing to say; they end up replying non-pertinant and useless stuff.
So either bring up something that has a relation with the subject, or just shut the fuck up.
Actually the design can be applied to any feature of the product (even ergonomics). If u were more specific (using some attribute in front of design) every one would knew that u were referring to the looks and not the shape of the mouse :)
btw I still think that the mouse looks ugly and as a graphic designer the fatal1ty logo is on of the worst ever made. Keep it simple people!
Those colours actually make it look fairly nice, compared to the 1010. Still, I don't think I'd do very well with that shape... I'm more of a full hand mouse user.
I'm pretty sure it will work like it should this time. If for some reason it doesn't, at least now it has upgradable firmware so they can fix it. But I don't think we'll have to deal with that.
I'd like blue also just because it would match the lighting on my keyboard and speakers. Everyone is going to have different color preferences though so it doesn't really matter. But the orange/silver/black is a lot better than red/black ;)
I ain't buying any Creative/Fatal1ty product until Creative has refunded my money for this useless piece of crap that I have here that they call Fatal1ty 1010. ;(
Can't be done here where I live.
Money back is no options, once you have opened it.
And sending it back to get it replaced with another piece of junk is pointless. Especially when you consider that I have to pay for shipping.
Are you sure about that? In my country you have 10 day rights to return the product you bought but you need to have the box. It doesn't matter if you opened it or not. After that the warranty applies and you don't need the box anymore (even if they exchange the mouse) .
If they don't want to take it back in the 10 day perioud, you call in on consumer rights, and they piss themselves and take it instantly :).
You must have some similar laws there. But you prolly have the mouse for much longer as ten days. Next time :) do your testing for in the first 10 days :).
