Analysis:
Mesta: a very big mashup of players here. I left Europe six years ago, but I know most of these guys by experience. If they prepare together, well, they will display some nice games. I don’t know if they trained or ever played together as a clan but they definitely know each other thanks to the pickup games.
xero: Indeed, it is a big mishmash of players of different backgrounds and skill levels. Preparation will key for teams such CA’, they certainly don’t lack much as individuals, yet I certainly wouldn’t be confident resting on aim alone. There are plenty of other good aimers in the tournament and they will have to look for ways to build small advantages over the course of any given game. My biggest advice to CA’ would be is to focus on a couple of maps and try include a newer map like avrdm1b as much as you can. With Smofo leading this team, they have the ability to put together a solid game plan, but will they? That remains to be seen.
Prediction:
Mesta: 10-11
xero:I think they can steal the No.8 spot and make the playoffs, however, it will require some time and patience.
ShadyAK: smofo is a talented & hard-working organiser from HoQ and CA's team combination of ex-CPM QL'ers and CPM "veterans" could surprise, they should be aiming for a top8 qualification. Time will tell if they get there, but they definitely would benefit from a lot of practice to achieve their goals.
