You’ve been to many tournaments, how well do you rate this one?
I never compare tournaments, each one is unique. This is a good tourney. That’s what I can say.

The previous week you’ve played in a #duel daily tourneys while living in Carnage’s house, how prepared for the event has that made you?
I played about ten games a day and it helped me to remember Quake3.

What do you think your strong point is right now, aim, strategy, or experience? What do you wish you had more?
I think my strong point is that I combine all of those things well. I just wish I remembered how I played Quake 3 before.

How do you think Toxic would have done if he came to this event?
Quake 3 and Quake 4 are completely different games so I can’t tell exactly what would have happened.

What game will you be playing next year, Quake3 or Quake 4?
I’ll play both games.

What do you think about Quake4 as a game, do you like playing it?
I think Quake 4 it's very unbalanced. There is strong bias towards aim and maps. The game is very fast but the maps are small, so 80% of it is dependent on aim.

Have you gotten any important lessons out of the recent WSVG final?
Yes. I’ll never come a tourney with the same level of organization. You could see the lack of professionalism from the fact that a number of loud CS teams, wc3 players and others had to sit in such a small area. I do respect the WSVG as an organization and hope that in the future they will change their faults.

You’ve said before you’re coming to this event to feel out the playing field, from your games, how well do you think you’ll place?
I don’t like question about my placement. Of course I will do my best at the moment. All of the top US players in good form. All of them have a chance at “top 3”.

You’ve just beaten Daler pretty heftily, how do you rate him as a player?
He doesn’t have enough tournament experience. It seems that before, like in 2002, he used to play somewhat better.

Do you think cl0ck can beat czm on hub3aeroq3?
No. Also, I'll add I’m not afraid to play czm on hub. It’s not that he’s very good on that map, it’s just that the map fits his style so well. When in control, he plays very aggressive and on it’s very difficult to get back control from him.
