Games-Solution officially announced the 8th edition of the Electronic Sports World Cup on 2nd December 2010. The total cash prize will be $220,000 and the Finals are expected to be played at the end of 2011 (November/December).

The games selection is still in process. Also, the venue and date of the Finals should be announced at the beginning of 2011.

The Global Starcraft II League 2010 is the first SC2 Korean league ever organized. There will be 3 Open Tournaments in 2010. These take place each month, with a prize pool of 200,000,000 KRW (about $170,000).

Clanbase Summer Cup 2010 will consist of Duel and 2v2 cups. It will run from 12 July 2010 till 06 September 2010.
QL Duel Summer Cup 2010 will be played with 4 qualifiers and then big finals played with 16 players, while QL 2v2 Summer Cup will be standard cup with regular group-stage and the playoffs.
