Group stage BO3.
For BO3: pick pick, drop drop, drop drop pick.
For BO5: pick pick, pick pick, drop drop pick.
For BO7: Map selection is Coin toss winner pick 1st map (loser of map1 picks map2, loser of 2 picks 3 etc).
All games in final stage including semi and quarters are BO5, only the grand final is BO7.
Fair Play:
Participants are expected to play at their full capacity at all times. Deliberately losing will not be tolerated and will result in disqualification.
Conduct:
All participants are expected to conduct themselves appropriately at all times. Abusive language, excessive swearing, and other forms of disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Admins may remove any player for violation of this rule at their own discretion.
Timeouts:
Each player may call up to two (2) timeouts per map for technical reasons. Players are not allowed to call any timeouts for tactical reasons; doing so may result in a map loss.
Attendance:
Players must join the #gametribecups IRC channel during their group stage or finals stage.
Anyone who is not able to play their game on the date they are needed to play or simply do not show, then that player or players will forfeit their game..

Gametribe is hosting a UT4 duel series starting 13:00 CDT, 1 September 2016. The amount of sign-ups will ultimately determine the length of the tournament, but the Grand Finals are expected to take place on October 13th.
$700 total.

All on site hardware has been booked so this is now a strictly BYOC (Bring your own computer) event for 18+. There is no bar so you will have to bring your own drinks into the Venue.
A UT4/Quakelive focused event with a few other games being played on the side (UT99, UT2004, Reflex, Maybe Shootmania). This will be a great chance to get someut4 and quake players together of all skill levels, as most other lans seem to be dominated by other games.
We have enough room for a good 50 players. You will need to bring something to sleep on like an airbed or camp bed etc. There will be a Duel tournaments for all who attend to take part in.

This is a FPS GameTribe online Tournament cup.
Going to want at least 10 players for this tourny to go ahead. Changed the date due to lack of sign ups, There is now more time for players to join this cup, Plus prize pool has gone up.
When:Starting 27TH April 19:00 GMT - 23:00 GMT and continuing on 28TH April 19:00 GMT - 23:00 GMT . All round games upto the semis to be played on the 2ND. If we have time to finnish the whole cup off on the same day then continue playing, If not finnish of Semis and Final the next day.

Players will play over three maps, The slowest player(s) will be eliminated at the end of the first two maps and the final map will decide who takes to top 3 spots

People will get points based on where they finnish, 2pt's for the bottom player and adding 2pt's more for every person above that.

Hello to all the Quake lovers out there, both the old school players and the new people just starting out on this totally awesome game called Quake.
I have been watching Zlive on twitch for a while now and have seen players asking&talking about getting more Quake live at lan events. So i started talking about having a Quake Live community get together at insomnia lan event and i have people all ready wanting to go, But i would love to get even more players interested in going and making it a much bigger event so multiplay would i hope support a much bigger tournament for players.
I have all ready been talking to someone at multiplay about getting something going for Quake Live. So far the feed back from them is positive and they have said about doing something for quake. The more people that are up for turning up and playing the better so if you would like to go then reply here or mail me at
[email protected] and lets start getting quake back at lan events and having fun.
I also have an open teamspeak 3 server for anyone wishing to use it. Quake live channels are in there setup and ready to go so feel free to use it if you wish.
