2020 Have been a year of collective trials, societies shutting partially or completely down, citizens getting isolated in their homes, some have been facing personal loss while others been affected via proxy, not loosing members of family and or friends but their jobs and in some cases due to economical restraints even their homes. I think it's safe to say that no one's been unaffected even if it's only on an emotional plane.

What does this have to do with Quake you might all wonder, bluntly nothing, but it could also mean a lot. I think people are in need of escapism, camaraderie, adventure and plain unadulterated fun. These are a few reasons why we decided to oragnize yet another OMG League CTF Draft Cup

We are going with the same format as previous cups, in other words; you HAVE to sign in to https://qlstats.net/ and make your stats public. Otherwise creating teams will be a complete nightmare, would also be nice of you if you could try and play a couple of games before the cup because of earlier mentioned reason. OMG Drayan kept nagging me about not being allowed to leaeve his house and how he would break curfew if I didn't organize another ctf draft cup!

I guess we can't have Drayan roaming around somewhere in the UK breaking curfew right? So here it is, atleast, in all it's glory: OMG QL CTF DRAFT CUP #7? (Honestly, I have no idea xD)

For you folks looking for a WMO replacement. yeah it have thumb buttons but I reckon those can be removed.Two models, one comes in at 67g, one of smaller size at 58g. PWM 3360 sensor. Cable seems really soft as in the opposite of stiff. Price seems ok at 49usd...

OMG it's time for a ctf draft cup!

It's been a while since the last OMG ctf draft cup! Come join us for some celebratory action on sunday the 21st of july. The cup will run the same way they've always been ran, check below for details.

OMG it's Christmas!!! (well almost)

Come join us for some exercise on sunday the 30th. For each year the weight put on in connection with christmas gets harder and harder to wear off, you grow older and staler, just like Quake and CTF xD. But next year it will all be different! We will have a new Quakeish game with a new ctf mode and millions of players (right?). Sadly we are not there yet. We still need YOU for 2018's last OMG Quake Live CTF draft cup.

On sunday the 18th of February it is time for the first ever OMG QL ctf draft cup. If you wanna participate go ahead and join the OMG League discord channel

Finally it's happening!

I'ts been far too long since QL players last could enjoy a drafts cup in CTF, therefor I decided to try to arrange one. Seems we won't start out small as I first intended. We're going full on with 8! teams containing 5 players which makes up for 40 players in total, luckily this doesn't make spots scarce but you never know so if you want to be sure to get in you better sign up NOW! The cup is supposed to be fun for all the players and I really hope people don't take it too seriously. The main objective is to get a couple of games in a semi-competitive environment whilst having a blast. I know a lot of players miss the old CB days no matter what division they played in or even if they didn't partake in the games and just followed from a distance. However: PLEASE you high skilled players who might signup, don't hazzle less skilled players over what you think is bad decisions, call a timeout and have a team debate instead ;)

Now for some rules, I will try to keep them to a minimum, it's not the WC now is it!?!? I get to decide the teams, shouldn't be that hard right? Teams will be divided into 2 brackets, teams in brackets face eachother once in a bo3 game. The two teams winning each bracket move onto the final. Second placing teams get to fight over third place. Games will be played on Omega servers, more info on game day. There is a discord channel up with team sub-channels and all (text AND voice, so contemporary). This one might be obvious by now: Players need Discord... Guess that's all for now.

TIME: almost forgot this, it will start on sunday the 18th of February at 14:00 cet. Be there if you signup or please let me know you can't play well in advance.

Hopefully I'll get someone to stream it.

There is a better fix than the one previously discussed in a thread. Hopefully it works for the lot of you who's still having problems since it really is an inconvenience to kill the awesomium process everytime you've joined a server. Try this instead: rightclick on Steam.exe, choose properties/compatability and then in the droplist choose your OS. In my case it was Win 7. Works splendidly for me, hope it works for you people still having problems and for you who's using the "kill awesomium process" fix too.

Hi fellow quakers!

I could really do with some Quake 4 config help. Been trying to get different fovs and sensetivities for different weapons in Quake 4 without any succes. This is what I've tried:

Bind x "impulse x; g:fov x; sensitivity x"

It works well half way. Fov and sensitivy is changed but not weapon, in console it says something like: "impulse x is not a command"
