Roccat any good? (21 comments)
Posted by loki993 @ 16:04 CDT, 1 July 2014 - iMsg
I dont see a ton of mention of roccat on here. Why is that? It seems that the pure optical and soon the pure military use the best sensors, the software seems decent and the reviews I've seen have been good.

Any reason to avoid them? Any reason to get say an Zowie FK over the pure military?

New mouse recco....G100s or EC2? (13 comments)

Ive been looking at mice for a while now and I think Ive narrowed it down. There is another site where the Minox Avior seems to be all the rage but 80 bucks for a mouse is a bit much for me. However if it actually better I could be convinced..but I dont think it can be that much better.

So so far I have it narrowed to probably the Zowie EC2 Evo or the CL. from what I see the only difference, aside from coating and color, between the EVO and the CL is the scroll wheel right?

Also I've seen he G100s talked about here quite a bit as being decent...I can get on of those from Amazon for 17 bucks...

Then there is my current mouse...which may or may not be a WMO, I found it laying around my dads house. Its grey on the bottom, not translucent, and it says
"Wheel Mouse Optical USB and PS/2 Compatible" and its P/N X05

pic added

The mouse seems to track well, but I don't know that id really know the difference, but to me it feels nice. I do get some negative acell at times, but turning the in game sens up cleans that up. also I tried to overclock it to 500 or 1k HZ and it wouldn't do it.

I've read tons that the earlier, non 1.1s, are terrible and pretty rare...this one doesn't seem to be that bad but the fact that it wont OC makes me winder if its a 1.0. If so though its far from what Id call terrible.....

Need a claw grip gaming mouse (27 comments)
Posted by loki993 @ 09:33 CDT, 24 April 2014 - iMsg
I just built a new computer and Ive been playing BF4 a lot. Im basically strictly a FPS player and Ive never had a true gaming mouse. I just usually use whatever I have laying around, so I think its time to get something better.

Im primarily a claw grip player with maybe a bit of palm.

I was on another site and I got a recommendation for the Minox Avior 7000 but a couple things about it bother me. first the price....80 bucks seems hefty for a mouse. second it seems a bit big maybe, I have medium sized hands.

Any good recommendation out there or would it really be worth it spending up on the avior?
