I miss FACE IT.

It was so well organised, great production quality, great casters, great movies. Those were some good years for QL.

Why didnt bethesda partner up with faceit to bring more attention to QC? Seems like the perfect move to make.

TEMP FPS fix for 8/3 steam client update (55 comments)

EDIT 2: Current official Steam client should have this issue fixed, its working for me. Doesnt seem like it works for everyone so will leave the dl link up

A lot of players seems to have problems with fps drop after the 8/3 steam client release.

Here is a temporary fix for it:

0: The newest official steam release should have the problem fixed. You can confirm the release version by clicking Help -> About steam, should display "Mar 10 2016" (or newer)

Proceed with this guide if it still doesnt work for you.

Maybe this has already been written somewhere, but cant seem to find it.

When Quake3 was released, CPMA was out pretty fast too.
Why did people, so quickly, decide to have a mod with such huge physics difference?

When and why did CPMA get competitively accepted (ESWC/IEM or other major tournaments)?

Why was Quake Live based of VQ3 physics, when CPMA was so popular? And why was it accepted? To keep quake alive?

Why was the roundtime changed from 15 to 10 min?

Hope someone would answer this :)
