Recruiting active members for a QL TDM clan

Clan Phenomenon (Phn) - a very old school clan from Latvia.

We don't have enough active members, hence the recruitment. We are mid-to-high skilled individually, but not as a team. For example, I'm rating 23 @ tdmpickup. So looking for players of a similar skill.

Must be active to play at least a few days in a week, usually in the evenings.

To apply contact me by adding as friend in QL (crims), or in skype (crims-).

Is QL so easy to hack into? (30 comments)
Posted by crims @ 05:30 CST, 2 March 2013 - iMsg
Was just playing a duel with a random guy, I was winning, he called me "cheater", I called him "noob". Nothing more than a little teasing, pretty standard in QL...

The next day I find my account has been hacked into, my password has been changed and my profile bio changed to "nono, YOU noob".

Pretty damn obvious that this guy I played a day ealrier - "shawbo" - is responsible. But really no harm done, I was able to restore my account quick and easy, so I take it just as a bit of teasing, and probably so does this guy.

The bigger issue is this - how easy must it be to hack into QL accounts? Somehow I doubt he would spend hours of sophisticated work just to tease me for a few minutes. This was a random guy who knew nothing about me, except my in-game nickname.

Is Lam abusing his power on #tdmpickup? (98 comments)

Here is the story...

I was running a bit late for a pickup game, but just when I was already on my way to the server AND wrote it on the channel, Lam subs me and takes away my place. He also threatened me with a ban, when the rules say there should first be a warning.

(13:39:05) (krischa) is there
(13:39:05) (@Lam) too late
(13:39:08) (krischa) he wrote back
(13:39:15) (krischa) nope... we didnt wait 10 minutes
(13:39:21) (@Lam) it's 5 minutes before I can sub
(13:39:29) (@Lam) 10 minutes before I can ban him :)

I was obviously pissed at him and after I expressed it - he actually went ahead and banned me from the channel. To me this looks like a blatant abuse of power by a man who is a lowlife in reality, but tries to at least feel some importance online.

(14:00:55) —› mode: (Lam) sets (+b *!*@cpc2-brig17-2-0-cust822.3-3.cable.virginmedia.com)
(14:00:55) —› kick: (crims) was kicked by (Lam) (1h - no-show + disrespect)

The 5-minute rule was obviously made to sub people who are afk, so that others do not have to wait. In this case, I was not afk and Lam knew it, as he saw that I wrote in chat that I am on my way. It made no difference to the others waiting which one of us got to play.

In summary,

Abuse #1: Took away my place for personal benefit, when there was no benefit for others in the pickup.

Abuse #2: Threat of ban without a warning.
"(13:39:21) (@Lam) it's 5 minutes before I can sub"
"(13:39:29) (@Lam) 10 minutes before I can ban him :)"

Abuse #3: Actual ban in response to my harsh remark, which was directed at him personally.

What do you guys think? Did Lam abuse his power in this incident, or am I overreacting?

Do you think Lam would have done the same if there was some well-known high-level player instead of me?

How to play back QL demos

Two friendly game demos of Rapha vs Poni played on 10 June 2012, days before Dreamhack Summer 2012.

Some of these games prompted Rapha to say that some of the things Poni did "seemed inhuman" during an interview at Dreamhack.

POV: Poni (ztn), Rapha (aero)

Camera is off during first few minutes on aero
