I'm sorry for just hyperlinking it, but that's because ESR forum don't support BB Codes.

Cloth pad for mouses w/ ADNS-9500 sensor (41 comments)

Which cloth mousepads works well with mouses with Avago ADNS-9500 sensor?

I'm asking that because I'm looking for a mouse with a decent sensor, at least 3000dpi, small and light (for fingertip grip). And the candidates so far is SS Xai and Logitech G9X, both of which have the Avago ADNS-9500 sensor.

Feel free to suggest other mouses.

I've read that this sensor has some issues with cloth mousepads but I've read also that those issues arise only with high speeds (above 2m/s?). That's not confirmed, I've made only a quick search and that's why I'm asking here. If you do own a mouse that uses this sensor and had already tested it with clothpads, please tell me your experience!

If you're not sure which sensor your mouse has, here's the always useful Skylit table:

User feedbacks so far:

Good for Avago-9500 [8]: QcK heavy [1], Puretrak Talent [1, 2], Goliathus Speed [1, 2, 3, 4], Zowie G-TF [1]
Bad for Avago-9500 [1]: any cloth pad + Xai [1]

Mousepad for Abyssus 1800dpi (3G sensor) (45 comments)

Hello,

I recently bought an Abyssus 1800dpi (3G sensor). I've spent lots of hours searching for a good mouse pad for it. Currently my cloth pad Rantopad C1 works quite fine with it if rotated 90 degrees. But it's more than 3 years old and I'm looking for a new one. I've made a little testing with it and I wanted to share the results.

I saw that the user chickenfluGR approved as being jitter-free the following pads:

Corepad Magna Blue
fUnc F30.R
fUnc C-Series
QPAD CT
Roccat Taito
Steelseries QcK+ fnatic
Zowie G-RF

And I also saw that he didn't recommend the following:

Corepad Magna
fUnc C-Series
Roccat Taito
Steelseries QcK+ fnatic

I gathered a lot of users inputs (mostly from ESR-Logo-RedESR) and you can see all the data in this table.

I'm opening this thread because many of the data I've gathered are outdated (more than 1 year), so today it might be newer solutions on the market. Currently, the three options I'm considering are Goliathus Speed, Goliathus Control and Zowie RF (they're available in a store nearby). What do you think about those mats?

And, is there anyone with the exact same product (Product No. RZ01-00360200)? If so, which mouse pad has worked best for you?

Thanks in advance!
