will i shaft/rail much better than on 60/75 hz? 60hz must be good enough since evil used a 60 hz (according to h8m3) for most part of that moscow lan.

i had to reinstall my system since something wenīt wrong..or i made it go wrong..doesnīt matter, fact is..i went into that partition before deleting it to safe my favourites...

went to the chrome folder in appdata and took a file named bookmarks.

however, i cannot import this in chrome now on my new install since it is not html. when i just name it .html it doesnīt work either.

opened it with the editor...all the urls are in there somehow with some other crap..but i wonīt go and copy and paste a couple of houndred urls.

you cannot be serious to take top maps, that have drawn in players for ages, out of rotation and make them premium. rotation sucks by the way and the fact that you cannot vote maps anymore is unspeakable.

ztn...spiders crossing..ospdm5, dm6, iīm sure there is more worth mentioning but id software, please get real and understand that you need to have something to make players actually want to play this game. i mean you see what happened since ztn is gone. and nobody really complained about a skill gap because the maps have been around for so long and everyone whos been around for a while knows them well. they are loved by the crowd. lot of good players got fed up with them. i understand that. but that is another story. how can a company make so many bad decisions or allow for so many is beyond me. good luck. i just play occasionally these days. i might play more if there was better content for free. maybe bring back loved maps and make stuff like clans or statistics premium? whatever the case, you need to do something id.

just recently i started to have 5 second lag spikes every ~15 minutes at least. didnīt play for 3 month or so.and now its there.

im on windows 7 and using cable connection, not wlan.

any suggestions?



***deleted password from config, turned off hd power safe, still lags of 5 seconds or a bit more every 10 minutes or so. also, this afternoon quake did an update routine, but there is no update right? and now i am unable to execute my cfg.

maybe reinstall fixes the lag and cfg problem. but really unnecessary

you cannot get 120 hz with win7 on a CRT. who would have thought. i had to find out the hard way. and even installing win7 was unsmooth as it apparently has issues (the installer) with joining two unformated partitions. i actually lost all my data because of some hickups and issues it seems to have.
why would anyone NOT use winXP? ...its faster..more reliable

the question was there i guess about pharez beeing legit. I am certain he is. but you can see how it looks like when he runs into a cheater. 11th of oktober (last tuesday) he ran into a cheater named entweder_oder, no obvious aim cheat from looking at stats, but account is banned. about pharez, i donīt think he gave his acocunt to some newb who plays lots of duel games with it. hes worthy 1900 elo points, so heīs smart enough to know that this newb would not have fun unless he ONLY joins servers.

can someone think of a way to even out high elo rankings from playing mainly one map? or is it just not called ELO rating after that. i havenīt read anything on that. i shall

problem is after i do in_restart, my sensitivity feels different (too fast).

I found another way of how to describe hunkmeg issues i wrote about before:

lower com_hunkmegs (lower than lets say standard of 96) gives you a feeling of aiming on less frames per second. also slightly lower sensitivity feeling. like someone said it might all be realated to the mouse also, i use WMO.
