How to play back Q1 demos

National friendly game between Sweden and The Netherlands played on GamePoint CTF on 21-10-2003, map e4m3, runes on, quad off (note: whine included :/). I've uploaded it since it's a qwctf mvd, which is quite unique, and simply because it's qwctf.

I've recorded the mvd on the server manually with rcon, since the Pure CTF mod doesn't have any direct qwextended support.

The q1 ctf files can be found here (id software - threewave ctf section):

Nearly nine months after it's predecessor, TDFE2 has been released. Here's a quote from Twisted himself on http://tfde.oztf.com about the contents, since i can't describe it any better ;)

TFDE2 is a QuakeWorld movie showcasing frags, stunts, flag captures and bloopers from the world's best TeamFortress players. Unlike the original TFDE which featured only Australian players, TFDE2 has material from other TF-loving countries such as New Zealand, Finland and Portugal. Not only that but to get inside the head of the players you see, there are even voice communication recordings from real TF matches, as well as some live commentary from Australia's most famous shoutcaster, Joe.
source: http://tfde.oztf.com

It's been captured using a development version of the custom qw client FuhQuake 0.30. That client will be released to the public on monday, so with Eso2 QW 1v1 going on this weekend as well, qw-ers are kinda spoiled with quality stuff these days 8).

Recently released by Polish Q2 players MoN-SooN and Oni, a 39:50 (!) long Q2DM fragmovie featuring numerous Polish players taking on eachother.

The movie was made with the custom Q2 client BeefQuake and features Matrix-like scenes created with KeyGrip 2. It mostly consists of frags on the standard id maps, however it also includes action on the following maps: aeroq2 (aka q2duel1), broken2 (aka q2duel5), fury, tltf (q3dm17 converted) and ztn2dm3 (aka q2duel8).

At 510 mb, it's a rather hefty download, the settings in Q2 could have been done a bit better too, but the action is fierce, so check it out ;)

update 29-09-'03: added q2.anomal.org url
