Foreword I've been working on this project for the past 9 months and while I understand it isn't entirely relevant to the content on ESR, I do think some people here will find it interesting!

Nimble Servers - Play by the hour. Pay by the hour.

Nimble Servers, the first company to offer game servers on demand at hourly rates, has just launched in the UK. Nimble Servers was set up with the goal of providing increased flexibility by removing the commitment of a monthly subscription, helping gamers save money by only paying for servers when they are actually needed.

For over a decade the game server hosting industry has been the same with servers available on monthly contracts tied to a single game. But with Nimble Servers you can host any game and with servers starting at just £0.06/hour, you'll probably save money too.

We are launching with CSS, CS 1.6, TF2 and Minecraft with servers currently located in London, UK.

First Street Fighter IV peripheral shots (8 comments)

Some of you may know that Mad Catz have the licencing to make the Street Fighter 4 controllers. At first this was a great disappointment to a lot of people as Mad Catz have a very bad reputation for their low budget controllers with no real priority given to competitive players. Then there was hope, S-Kill and Markman are two people who know arcade sticks very well and both were working with Mad Catz on the design.

There will be two arcade sticks offered, a premium one featuring the same sanwa parts used in the real arcade cabinet and a standard one for the more casual player (still the same layout) as well as a pad with an interesting d-pad. There will also be changeable faceplates for the sticks and pads.

At the recent GameStop convention the peripherals were on display, take a look!
