is the main server down for anyone else?

I've noticed quite a few threads about this. Is this something that happens often now?

do you think the meta game has changed a lot in the past few years at the very high pro level? Or do you think it's been leveling off?

What was your opinion of the map? Do you think the map could be made better if certain adjustments were made to it? Maybe move around where the lg is and mh is? Put certain items in different places?

Since blood run is considered one of the greatest quake duel maps how were ztns other duels maps in your view?

For the first 2 years of quake 3 he was a very dominant player. I know that most say here that he got on top because of practice practice practice (which is his quote, ironically) But was there more to him in your opinion than just playing the hell out of these fps games when they first came out? Did he have anything special about him? Was his aim considered top tier during his era?

I was just wondering how much truth there was in your view that the USA won the cold war and defeated the soviet union. Or did the eastern europeans pretty much do that on their own? WIth the very large mass scale protest calling for and end to the soviet empire did the US really have anything to do with it, really? I've done some research on it and it really seems to me that it should by and large be credited to the eastern europeans for bringing that empire down.

Which players do you think throughout the history of quake 3 or even quakelive changed the way or evolved the game the most?

Most will say fat set the first bar in 2000. After that Zero4 was the player of 2001 and really showed how to play pro-t4. Then cooller came along and had a really cool style of starving the opponents of armour and mega health. In 2004 czm was considered player of the year and was way head of other pro q3 players when the map hud in q3 was first used in tournaments.


Which players do you think did the most? If so can you go into depth into what you think they did to change or evolve the game?

What was everybody's opinion towards team arena? If you have likes or dislikes please go into detail about what you enjoyed and didn't.

Does anyone think it doesn't work? With both the US and Europe becoming more multi cultural do you think this thing is going to blow up someday? Could it possibly work?

I have really small hands and was wondering if anyone here has small hands or if any of the really good pro players do? If so, I'd really like to try out the cfgs of these type of players.

With the exception of the Hive FFA tournament and the game where deathrow aliased under Gump I've never been able to find any thresh quake 3 demos. Anyone know of any others that could be out there? I would really like to see how he would have played maps like dm6.

Just wondering if anyone has any old interviews or offical words from dennis as to why he left pro-gaming pretty much as quake 3 was being released?
