Im concidering to start playing quake again and... Blablabla..
Logitech is soon going to release a couple of new mice, one of them being; G502 Hero

I know there are still some hardware gurus when it comes to mice here so I want to ask your thoughts of it?

The Hero MX518 will be released later on which will be interessting as long as Logi dont butcher it.

Here you can post what you think is/was good and bad about Quakecon's quakelive stream covering. This thread (comments) could be useful for both community and ID software. (if they would listen)

Example:

Pros:
* Great casting by Disrepute, Zoot and Jahar (!)
* They added a individual Tournament-stream

Cons:
* 60fps my arse
* Covering less than 40% of the QL matches
* Bad planning: "Oh God, We were up ALL NIGHT collecting hardware to add an additional stream" .. but still, thank you:)

Lately I've been trying to figure out how to stream quakelive while Im gaming myself. I get about 30fps stable on the stream in r_inwindowmode 14 while i play, but it freezes slightly every 10-15ish seconds.
40 fps works too, but unplayable because I had to lower the resolution quite a bit.
Ingame fps are fine (80-125)

Anyone got it to work properly?

Would be fun if ppl started to stream theyr games, and maybe later on the pro's started to do it ect.

If anyone wants to know my specs are:
CPU: 1090T @ 4Ghz
GFX: 590 GTX
GFX2: 8800GTX (physx card)
8 gigs RAM Corsair @ 1600
50/50 fiber line

Earlier I was watching a few streams and videos from LAN events and such, noticing how insanely good aim players have, Coollers epic screams, strenx’s beatboxing and so on.

Suddently something kind of hit me while watching stermy _sat_ there totally consentrated, railing around... Im actually lying down while I play games! All pro’s, probably almost 90% of all PC-gamers sit straight up in a chair while they play. My TFT monitors are placed a little high so I have to slightly look up, so it feels natural to just lay in my stressless/shitty old thing.

So my question is: Could I be too relaxed and not be getting my optimal potential and focus because of that?

And I would like to know what rig you guys are sitting/lying on.
I need Ideas!
