This is my first video attempt called Plainwalk. I mainly decided to start this project because I wanted to gain some experience with video editing tools. Therefore the content contains a few demos which were already published before. Nevertheless you can expect very fast runs (Most of the times should be WR's). I consider this movie a tribute to Warsow 0.21, it is one of those fragmovies that really makes you want to play and enjoy the game, and which makes you realize why you do!

The editting, use of the (minimally available) cameras really come together great, and accompanied by the theatrical soundtrack, this is a movie not to forget! The quality of the frags, quality of editting, synching and the visual effects are very good, and they make Warsow 0.2 look better then it ever has. The high quality of the compression with the crazy color effects make this movie a visual trip!

Well there is not much to say. I did this movie cause the response on the second part was mainly positive and I got asked a lot of times to make a third part. But I knew that with a new part, the expectations would once again be higher and I had a hard time to find the right style of editing and started over at least 7 times. At first I started to try some bass music from Junkie XL but it just didn't feel right to release Surreal 3 with that kind of music. So I started over and over again till I found something that would stay true to the rest of the Surreal series but still feel fresh. My favourite part of the movie is the last part with The Postal Service - This place is a Prison. Not just because it's a different style of editing but also because it was the most timeconsuming part to edit. I got the inspiration from the 1.6 movie Callisto. And then when I saw Eve - from the very talented moviemaker Niklas "cRZYFST" Koep, which just blew me away, I became more confident in giving that kind of editing a shot. This is the x264 of "Sunman 5" movie I made for the Director Cut Contest.

For the ones that don't know it , Sunman is one of the biggest player of Counter Strike who used to play with coL on 1.6 and who's now with team EFG on Cs:Source

I made this movie while he was playing 1.6 , I collected frags that were the best of 2006 and some of 2007.I used a Trance song which is in my opinion dynamic and which gives a lot of rythm to the movie , I tried to sync it with frags at maximum and I also added a few 2D/3D effects to increase the movie quality

As to the resolution , it's the first movie I've made with HD that's to say 1280*720. The codec used there is x264 so slow computers may not be able to read it smoothly , if it happens , read the playback issue or download the xvid version available in the contest page.

Around 2 months ago Creative Movies - in partnership with Sennheiser Communications, Razer, Fragbet, Qpad, ICY BOX and Spawnpoint - started an international movie contest called Director’s CUT in two categories (Counter-Strike and Open Games) and with great prizes, like $ 2000 in hardware and cash.
