As we're going into week 4 of the tournament the group stage is now almost finished. We'll have a few interesting games this week, which will decide which of the remaining nations will head into quarterfinals.


The loser of Sweden vs United Kingdom will play the winner of USA vs Turkey for a spot in the Quarterfinals.

These games should be scheduled as soon as possible. All games must have been played before Monday 1/3.
That includes all games as the quarterfinals will start Monday 1/3.

Finally some interesting games on paper. In the last week of the groupstage we'll have the high vs mid seed and low vs no seed.


ALL GAMES MUST BE SCHEDULED AND ANNOUNCED TO DEATH OR BLAZE BEFORE WEDNESDAY THE 18/2 OR TEAMS WILL BE PUNISHED

I'm leaving Sweden for Austria tomorrow. A hell of a long drive, about 1570km. But it's worth it, 9 days of snowboarding in Sölden, in the southern parts of Austria!

Now that the CPM TDM Nationscup has finally started, I took some time to ask each captain their thoughts about the tournament and how they expect to perform. Here is a teaser with Daniel "voodoochopstiks" Platt, the Swedish captain:

Underdog of your team?
Probably me because I am not that good a coach and I don't have a very strong idea about what TDM is about. I couldn't name a player, we have a consistently strong squad to field I think, as long as everyone stays happy and in good spirits.

It's time to get this tournament underway. Me and death have discussed and finally came up with some seeds.


Death spent some time to do truly random groups using random.org. Yay!

As stated before, the tournament starts 1/2.
The schedule for the first match week will be released some day next week.

So season 8 went on air yesterday (6th) after a hell of a long time away. I just watched the first two episodes. Thought the first one felt a bit too strained but I still enjoyed it. After all, it's still scrubs.
Second episode was better, felt like an old one.
Ah, it's good to have it back!

And I already hate Joe.

THE CPM TDM NATIONSCUP IS OFFICIALLY FULL. TEAM SIGNING UP NOW WILL BE USED AS RESERVES.
I know of at atleast 1 team that might drop out.
Reserve teams will be told 1 week before the actual cup starts if they're playing or not.

LINEUPS NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED BEFORE FRIDAY 23/1.
Lineups can now include 7 players. The coach doesn't need to be on the linup. Anyone from the own nation can coach the team. Hope this is easier to understand now, sorry for the inconvenience.

I'm proud to present 2009 years Challenge ProMode Team Deathmatch Nationscup!

We'll start off with the old ClanBase's procedure. If you want to be a captain of your nation, apply through sending a mail to [email protected] with a nice motivation why you should be selected as the captain of your nation. Make sure to include your name, nick, nation and where we can find you at IRC.

Make sure to apply before Saturday the 3rd of January. Sunday the 4th of January we'll select the captains and make it official.

Second step is for the captain to assign a team. Of course the captain should consider everyone of his / her nation and not to pick out the few friends he / she plays with.

The actual cup starts at 1st of February and the rules will be released later on.


To get as many teams to sign up as possible we decided that nations with a very small amount of players can team up with other nations to become a team. Example: The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg may team up and create a team. Also we decided that a nation with a very large amount of players may assign 2 captains and 2 teams.
The teams are not allowed to have more than 6 players + coach.

I've played q4 for some hours now and I really like it.
One thing is bothering me tho, when I'm using the zoom function for rail and mg the sens is the same as it is in normal mode. I'd like to lower the sens in zoom-mode, anyone know how to do this? I did look around some but didn't find anything.

I heard from a friend that Metal Gear Solid 3 is going to be released in Sweden tomorrow \o/
Hope it is a good game as the 2 games earlier in this triology. Because im definitely going to get it.
