would like to see basically everything in that all users have added with greasemonkey scripts (server browser, demos watcher, ...). ql.com is just awefull to use by default
well take the server browser for example. usually what i want is to find skill a matched 1 person .de duel server. with the default browser thats a pain in the ass. with the alternative browser + elo viewer you can have a filter for location (exclude locations or simply only including x locations), then sort for player # and see the elo numbers (a lot better than looking for green servers).
and demo watching means going to the demo folder, copying a demo name, starting a bot match and then starting the demo playback in the console. with the addon you get a nice gui, helping you to find the demo you want with a search function and then a button to play the demo or even a playlist.
you can definitely live without every single addon but they make it a lot more comfortable/faster.
Im assuming your talking about the QL website(even though you have a halo icon, but posted in the ql esr forum). Ive actually used the "featured profile" when I feel like checking someones profile but don't feel like logging on :)
And in regards to the QL site it would be cool to control what you can show on your profile --- with the exception of accuracies that should be public :)
- search function only displays first 99 players
- chat is still buggy as fuck
- server info for duels, who is playing, who is spec, etc is also buggy as fuck
The server browser is just ridiculous. Join a server that's 6/8, when I get in the server it's 10/8 and they're already a round or so into the game. I understand they probably set auto refresh on the list to a minimum (I think I remember sponge saying it's every 30sec?), but if I refresh the list manually it should give me the latest info.
+ embed irc client and lots of irc channels, at least one by every country (including those that don't have servers) and some made specifically for duel in a certain region, for example "duel SA", "duel east EU" and so on.
It doesn't have to and I don't expect it to. I expect it to show you the player name, if it coincides, when you search for a specific e-mail address, and only if that person wishes the e-mail address to be available for this kind of search.
