it's one of his alt accounts. he was using it to test his custom hack on some pub servers and didn't think he'd get caught. i'll post some more evidence of him using it in my journal here:
the following people don't but are pretending they do:
kg
T1E
gstructor
jamalz
Anhedonic
esdf
Sonic
rushh
interestingly enough most of them with the exception of perhaps jamalz although i'm beginning to think he could be meadows, all come from #quakelive, irc , aka syncerror's channel. Go figure.
Sounds like a planned excercise in trolling

you guys must really be bored in irc today. You probably miss the days of people coming in the channel to ask for help where you troll them in return and they ragequit huh.
yet av8r and adrenal1ne are given a pass.
And i dont need to mention incubus, but i'm sure yo'ull tell me i've lost it or stownr will tell me there's no reason to ban him, right stownr :) ya, keep it up.
And then you have the audacity to joke around on irc about it. That kid raged out, that was a potential customer. Thats' how you guys deal with people? You should be ashamed of yourselves

anyone who gets pissed off at someone messing about in a public takes the game too seriously anyhow, surely?
Even the players in the video found it amusing..
yet there's a policy against teamkilling, for which noobs get banned. If you're a friend of syncerror however, you get a pass. That's my whole point. But feel free to troll me further. It doesn't change anything.
it's funny how you and others close to id always dismiss the very rules set forth by id and only commentate on the people banned, instead of on the people still actively breaking those rules, like av8r, adrenal1ne and incubus.
Notice how sync and lillie don't come in here and give an excuse on those 3, because they got nothing. They know they're protecting them. They can act stupid all day long but i've linked their participation in games via videos and screenshots. They are well aware of the antics of these 3 but do nothing. So either those 3 are carmack, stratton and hollenshead themselves or they're biased towards their friends. The truth is rather obvious at this point.

Well I don't follow all your claims on these so called horrible players, but the videos I saw were funny, and those getting team killed there found it just as funny, not sure how that is bannable.
OT: Detlew was banned for wallhacking, vote spamming and aimbotting as well as having 300 multis, not team killing (kinda hard when he mains CA/FFA anyhow)
where are these quake rules anyhow, i've never seen them

not only does he disrespect new players but he also disrespects the people commentating games at quakecon And syncerror protects him. Again, i point to the fact that sync used to play with incubus, av8r and adrenal1ne in clan EQ games. Sync knows what those 3 are doing.
also, no comment on av8r? despite the screenshot i showed of mrgreen_ getting banned for it?

except we have a teamkill complain system now, you utterly thick cunt. apparently the people in the vid did find this amusing enough not to kick those involved?
you didn't have to say they were friends, you more or less pointed to the fact that they didn't mind, although you failed to notice incubus himself ragequit after adrenal1ne shot him off on rebound (ctf map). But i doubt he cared the next day, they prob do that shit all the time to each other... oh wait....
but if you think they're only doing it for videos and to each other than yo haven't watched the quakecon vods of adrenal1ne or seen incubus play when he's NOT on a stacked team (it can happen) and ends up losing because of some noobs (since he plays on tier 2 servers) at which time he reverts to teamkilling them by shooting them into the void.
ordus / syncerror, etc anyone else in charge of banning people they feel like.
in regards to the kick system after people file complains.
1) those videos were made before that system was put into place
2) hardly anyone pays attention to it in game and probably forgets to vote and/or just dismiss it by accident.
3) you do realize nukes present a problem in producing legitimate complaints right? When a teammate gets killed who is carying a nuke, it can kill teammates, but that doesn't mean he meant to die... to kill his teammate..... so there's some issues with that complaint system..
4) as far as teamkilling. I have not seen that complaint box show up in ctf when a teammate shot off another teammate.
when you get nuked by a killed teammate, and are then attacked by the enemy upon respawn, you're just quickly pressing f1 or f2 to get the message off the screen. You really don't know how that teamkilling report works. It takes severeal people all reporting that person, and again, it doesn't show up when you get shot into the void in ctf, only when nuked. Perhaps the situation is different in tdm, i would imagine so, but do play some ctf and shoot someone off into space and you'll see no such message appear...
in other words, you can't report teamkillers in a game of ctf .... the gamemode adrenal1ne plays

LOL why do you think I hang out on IRC with those 2? I may be in one channel with them in it (which is probably #ESR), but I don't talk to them on a regular basis.
Shouldn't you be out stalking supposed cheaters?
So he either joined during an actual netsplit or registered/enabled cloak which changed his hostmask while he was already on the channel. Then QuakeNet took note and reapplied the ban.
First and foremost, I think there were not any other permanent bans set on me before that one. Not in that time span at least.
"[...] registered/enabled cloak which changed his hostmask while he was already on the channel."
Having a permanent ban now, I just checked the result of setting hidden host mask while being in the channel and it didn't kick me - I only can't send messages anymore.
And I don't believe there was a netsplit either. My guess is that Q works regardless of netsplits, but feel free to prove me wrong. For now, I believe it was a kick-ban with a silly reason.
The majority of the time people are blown off and sent to the forum without even a link. There's a reason me, lochdog, roxolana and xtruder were liked in the early days of the forum, because we helped the very people turned away or ignored in #quakelive. And did the work that yakumo later got credit for, yet we were called trolls. Hah.

interestingly enough most of them with the exception of perhaps jamalz although i'm beginning to think he could be meadows, all come from #quakelive, irc , aka syncerror's channel. Go figure.
I know, because i've known kg for around six years. He has as much to do with syncerror and those fun little QL dramathons, cabals and conspiracies as p0rt has with sanity.
You need to take a step back and chill out, you're getting a little paranoid, lol.
I was referring solely to kg, i don't know/don't care about any of those other guys.
Also he isn't "defending cheaters" really but that's a discussion i really don't want to get into right now. Or ever, for that matter. I just find it a bit humorous he managed to get under your skin so easily. :p
he didn't? what makes you think so? i just don't understand it, especially after all the evidence and the cheaters confessing themselves. If he's just trolling, what's the point? But w/e people will figure it out for themselves so him saying certain cheat evidence isn't conclusive won't change people's own personal opinions.
Like i said, i know because i know him. All he's doing is asking questions, there's no further context than that, there, even if some of these questions tend to annoy and aggravate people. You'd see that yourself if you'd talked to him without getting all emotional about it.
he's doing more than asking questions.... he's discounting these facts even after the cheaters themselves confess, like zeroql. Look back at that thread. I understand you sticking up for him because he's your friend, but there's a time when every "friend" has to look at things rationally, even if it means distancing him/herself from that friend.
Boy stop that whiny shit and write a book about your bad life/experience with QL.
Its annoying reading always the same.
I hate pessimistic people always reverting the past. Look positive forward and go ahead.
PS: I am sure you will find some cheating about me if you spend some days in researching my history ,... :D
It's called a 'Tipping Point' (by Malcolm Gladwell) where the incident is caught into a domino effect when others do the same and turns it into a epidemic...
says the troll who just came from irc after you, city and lam had that discussion over posting on esr. You guys are just killing your own game in an attempt to stop q50 , etc here. And its'especially pathetic that lam aka diplodok would partake in such an event, being that he's a ql moderator. But i'm sure syncerror approves of his actions too....
